Look at this pic sent to me by a collector friend (I’ll always praise the pleasure of sharing!): the long-haired Casey in the middle might be a rare variation of this MOD doll. Have you ever spotted one? Casey is a teenager Mattel doll issued in 1967, very Brit in her style and mood - as London was then kinda center of the world – and possibly one of the most androgynous dolls in the bunch. Don’t think intentionally androgynous.

Guardate qsta foto che mi ha mandato un’amica collector (sempre loderò il piacere del condividere!): la Casey coi capelli lunghi nel mezzo potrebbe essere una rara variante di qsta bambola MOD. Mai trovata una? Casey è una bambolina teenager che la Mattel produsse nel 1967, molto british come stile e spirito – Londra era più o meno il centro del mondo all’epoca – e probabilmente una delle bambole più androgine del gruppo. E non credo androgina intenzionalmente.
