Don’t know exactly how this Latin motto popped up when I received from the artist, Paola Risoli, the 2 pics of her touching work titled The Inner Kitchen (2002). I don’t know how, and I won’t explain, letting you enjoy another sentimental interior.

Cioè “Lo spirito digerisce anche le cose più dure”. Non so bene come mi è saltato su qsto motto in latino nel momento in cui ho ricevuto dall’artista, Paola Risoli, le 2 immagini del suo toccante lavoro intitolato La cucina interiore (2002). Non lo so, e non voglio spiegarlo, lasciandovi invece gioire di un altro ambiente sentimentale.
La cucina interiore: cm. 45 x 20 x 40 (h) mixed technique: paper, carton, glue, acetates, wire, acrylics, paints, electric ware and re-used materials * tecnica mista: carta, cartone, colla, acetati, fil di ferro, acrilici, vernici, materiale elettrico e di recupero.
*** the fact is that in Latin the same verb - coquo - captures both the meanings of "cooking" and of "digesting". * il fatto è che in latino lo stesso verbo - coquo - cattura sia il significato di "cuocere" che di "digerire".
