Yes, mixing human 1:1 scale and doll photoshopped articulations is something familiar to us. But, I was reflecting, this makes a very interesting point: a) that it happens frequently b) that magazine readers are in subtle complicity with it, and c) that it is not being considered a childish thing to do on a magazine with an adult readership…
Queste immagini da Vanity Fair della scorsa settimana mostrano come presentare la moda femminile tramite foto di bambole sia diventato parte delle nostre categorie visuali. Sì, mixare scala umana 1:1 e bambole con le articolazioni photoshoppate ci appare familiare. Ma riflettevo che sta appunto in qsto il fatto interessante: a) che accade spesso, b) che i lettori ne sono sottilmente complici e che c) non la si considera una bambinata in un giornale fruito da adulti…(thx, T!)
